Nature reserve Het Lutterzand 

Het Lutterzand is located between De Lutte and Denekamp and is known for the small river Dinkel that meanders through this area. The Lutterzand is 750 hectares in size and has a varied landscape, with forests, heaths and shifting dunes. The nature reserve is easily accessible from Buitenplaats Holten, you can get there in about three quarters of an hour by car. Are you going hiking, cycling or mountain biking? Many routes start at Paviljoen 't Lutterzand near the Kribbenbrug. Get a breath of fresh air first and then have lunch, dinner or a drink at the pavilion.

There are several ways to explore the area. For walking enthusiasts, there is the Stuifzandroute, a beautiful 3.7 km walking route that leads you along the most beautiful spots of Lutterzand. Would you rather cycle? This bicycle route will introduce you to a number of beautiful natural areas in the vicinity of Denekamp. Or choose one of the many other cycling routes near Het Lutterzand, ranging from 30 to 65 km. Are you going for a mountain bike vacation to Buitenplaats Holten? Then follow the tankenberg-lutterzand mtb route! For those looking for some extra adventure, there is even the possibility of canoeing on the Dinkel. In short, there is something for everyone!
