Nature reserve De Sprengenberg

At De Sprengenberg you’ll walk through purple heathland and wide forests, with the striking Palthetoren as the area’s landmark. Originally built as a villa, it’s now the eye-catcher of this nature reserve and often referred to simply as “De Sprengenberg”. You can’t go inside, but the view from the path is worth it.

De Sprengenberg is located in Haarle, about a 25-minute drive from Buitenplaats Holten. Various walking and cycling routes start at Erve De Pas, taking you past the highlights of the area. After your walk or ride, it’s a great spot to relax with a drink and a bite to eat.
